St. Louis Martin and St. Marie-Azelie

The holy spouses Louis Martin and Marie-Azelie Guerin practiced Christian service in the family, creating day by day an environment of faith and love which nurtured the vocations of their daughters, among whom was Saint Therese of the Child Jesus. They are the first-ever married couple with children to be canonized in the same ceremony.

They are the patron saints of the Family Apostolate, Diocese of Mandya.

Logo

Logo of the Family Apostolate encapsulates it’s meaning and purpose.

Cross within the triangular shape reminds us that Jesus is the center of every home. It also depicts the Christ-centered, loving, joyful, witnessing families, and nurturing life.

Gifts of the Spirit – Holy Spirit showers blessings from heaven on every home, sanctifying and making homes as the sanctuaries of the Gospel values.

“Word Of God” emphasises that family members must live their life deep-rooted in the Word Of God.

Raised hands indicate unity, prayerful life, submission to God’s plans, which together build and strengthen the homes. Raised hands also indicate homes filled with happiness, peace, and harmony.

The circular ring shows the unity and the integral role of each member in the family.

“Form Heaven From our Homes” – When all the above essential elements come together, homes are turned into heaven.
